Posted: Mon Jul 12, 2010 1:32 pmI was born and raised in London, to me it is home so it is kinda kewl to me to find a web site for our city. thanks Admins for creating it. I grew up in the Woodfield area (around Victoria Park for those who don't know). My favorite haunts growing up were both the Library and the Y when they were both a block apart on Queen street. All local kids would go fishing in the Thames on a hot afternoon in Harris Park. I went away to college and returned about 30 years ago to a city I barely could recognize (I even got lost the first week trying to take a bus the routes had changed so much). London continues to grow but it keeps its comfortable friendly feel, I am proud to call London my home town.
