Someone gave me a pro-90 and i am trying to program bell fleetnet to it. But everytime i put the frequency in, it gives me an error. the one i am trying to program is from here:
Login or Register for the link now the frequencies i am seeing is around 141 and as far a i know the scanner will only accept frequencies on the 800mhz for trunking. i am very new to this and i hope to learn more before moving up to a digital scanner.
thanks

i think the issue is that it is the first one that does trunking and that it only does it on the 800mhz band. gives me a reason to save up to get a digital scanner. One question though, does the prs-500 or 800 serve me for a long time. it will suck big time when they roll up something new and a very expensive scanner be obsolete.

The source sells them. I found a couple Uniden Bearcat scanners for under $200. They aren't the BCD396XT as noted earlier, so I'm not sure if they would do the job. If someone knows if other bearcat models would work that would be great. Thanks.
