Husking corn in the grocery store

Why can't people just take the corn home and peel it? Just makes a mess at the store.

i refuse to buy corn in the grocery store. toadside stand is way better and fresher. dont people know if you soak the corn husks and all in water and then bbq them whole and then husk, the corn tastes way better cause its steamed in the husk. just husk your hot corn with a pair of oven mits.

sometimes the grocery provides a bin for people to use to husk their corn if they have one I will use it if they dont have a bin there I husk it in my back yard either way my house doesnt get messy
