Hydro smart meters beginning

London Hydro will begin to transition all residential houses to Time-of-Use pricing beginning February 1st. It would also be a good idea to create a "My Account" for London Hydro at Login or Register for the link to monitor your bill.

This will affect your hydro bill big time!

Most of us have been converted to the London Hydro Smart Meters by now. You should know the peak times when not to do your laundry etc. See below for details.

Current Regulated Price Plan Time-of-Use Rates are as follows:

1.On-Peak - 10.8 cents per kWh - When demand for electricity is highest (Weekdays: 7 AM - 11 AM, 5 PM - 7 PM)

2.Mid-Peak - 9.2 cents per kWh - When demand for electricity is moderate (Weekdays: 11 AM - 5 PM)

3.Off-Peak - 6.2 cents per kWh - When demand for electricity is lowest (Weekdays: 7 PM - 7 AM., Weekends and Holidays 24 Hours)
