Re: Engine 14?I am not sure if P25 is available in analog but I will try to get an answer asap.
Re: Engine 14?Just checked with forum at radio reference and it looks like P-25 is DIGITAL only. It sounds like they are almost ready to make the switch.
Re: Engine 14?That will not be good for fire only scanner as it is not a digital scanner.

Re: Engine 14?That's a shame, I quite enjoy having just the fire-only scanner, I find the other one hard to follow. Any word on when this switch to the P-25 is going to happen?
Re: Engine 14?Maybe this month. If anyone wants to donate so we can get another digital one.

Re: Engine 14?Fire will not get a word in if it shares. Its first come.Youll only know if fire goes out if ems annonces it.
Re: Engine 14?There are settings that I will put on the ems one so we don't miss the fire calls. I set the fire delay and make the the channels priority.

Re: Engine 14?Does EMS use a digital system?
Re: Engine 14?No, ems doesn't. Opp does even though they are on the same system.

Re: Engine 14?Can the fire only listeners try the EMS feed and let me know what you think. I set it up so it priority scans the fire channels as well as set the delay time to 30 seconds.
