London-Dad - Sun Jul 22, 2012 7:08 pm
Fire tends to repeat the call a few times, original call say it twice, after they are in the trucks they repeat again

mark3712 - Sun Jul 22, 2012 6:55 pm

Listen to the time when they say it and look at your clock
User avatar
London-Dad - Sun Jul 22, 2012 6:53 pm
Sometimes they reroute the call to another ambulance or multiple ambulance going to the scene

Policy Directive 4. Talks about presumption of death and the criteria required before fire fighters do not initiate CPR on someone VSA. Talking about someone PD-4 means they have met the criteria and no rescusitaton efforts are being made.

anyone know what pd-4 means over the radio? heard engine ten report a patient pd-4. I'd assume it has something to do with pronounced dead
